The Church is situated in the centre of the village with its recessed spire soaring to 150 feet it is one of the tallest churches on the edge of the fens.

The church looks picturesque when floodlit each evening.

It is a Grade 1 listed building.

Most of the church is early 14th Century but there are traces of earlier works.

The most impressive part of the church is the nave with its arches and 14 windowed high clerestory, which makes it feel bright, light and spacious.

The great West window is 15th Century and portrays the Resurrection; the East window depicts the Crucifixion. There are three other stained glass windows.

The organ is a two manual and was completely rebuilt in 2000.

There is a peal of eight bells.
