St Andrew's, Anderby
St. Andrew's is a lovely small Church located at the South end of the village in its Churchyard about a mile from the A52 junction.
A regular congregation of 5-10 meets for worship each Sunday at 9.00am. Services are in modern language and are Communion or Morning Worship (led by a Lay Minister).
Our singing is sometimes accompanied by our harmonium.
Everyone is most welcome to all our services.
From time to time we have a special evening service (Songs of Praise) - at Christmas this is usually accompanied by the popular Alford Silver Band.
Please note that St. Andrew's can be chilly in Winter and does not have toilet facilites and access for wheelchairs and mobility scooters is not easy.
Various parish social events take place in Anderby Village Hall.
In addition to the Churchyard around St. Andrew's there is a small extension on the opposite side of Rectory Road as well as a Cemetery (run by Anderby Town Council) where most burials now take place.
