Building

The beatiful church we see today is a Grade I listed building that has been continuously in use in Market Deeping for at least 800 years.

The site was clearly a centre of worship long before that as Anglo Saxon religious masonry has been discovered in the grounds.

It has a fascinating history, not only the building but also St Guthlac himself, our local saint.
