Young people have so much choice, and so many leisure activities vying for their attention in Woodhall Spa that we have to offer something different in order to maintain interest and not lose the youngsters.
Over the years so many of them have stopped coming to St Peter's once they become teenagers, what a shame after all the input from Little Fishes and Sunday Club to lose them at this vital age.

Therefore we have to remain relevant and interesting using SPYS as a tool for reaching the un-churched, as well as those whose families regularly attend, and through our work and prayers for them, trust that God will use us in developing their faith and keeping them engaged during their teenage years. Yes, they may be unconventional, yes, they maybe noisy and certainly they will challenge the status quo, but they are the church of now and the leaders of the future, they deserve the investment of our time, energy, resources and prayers.   So please pray for our work with the young people and if you want to become a prayer partner please contact Revd Andrew for more info

School Links
St Andrews Primary is our local Church of England School, and we value our links with them through our Priest in Charge, who is a Foundation Governor and takes assemblies there. The school comes to St Peters Church for a service each term.  See school link on homepage.

Similarly the Priest in Charge would regularly take assemblies at Bucknall Primary School and they have services for pupils and parents at St Margaret's Church.

There are also links with St Hugh's School, where we take assemblies,  and joining the annual confirmation classes and service.

For details of Baptism and Confirmation, see our Life Events page
