All Saints Church, Horsington

150th Celebrations

An Art Exhibition was in the Village Hall  in memory of the late Frank Reeve.   In All Saints Church, there was a Flower Festival dedicated to our late PCC Secretary of 35 years, Mrs Doreen Williamson, whose original idea it was to celebrate our 150 years.

Both the Church and the Village Hall were open on Sat 3rd and Sun 4th July 2010

The weekend was a huge success. Over £1300 was collected.

The viilage hall Art Exhibition was in memory of Frank Reeve, the Church Flower Festival was in memory of Doreen Williamson.

It was Albert and Eileen Clarke's 63rd Wedding Anniversary on 5th July 2010.

Bishop David presented Eileen with a thankyou present from the PCC during his service.

He also presented Lucy and Thomas Robinson with their Bibles from the PCC  to commemorate their Confirmation earlier in the year.

The celebrations concluded with a Bring & Share Supper at the village hall.
