Crib Service 2008.

Once again our popular Crib Service was held on Christmas eve and about 100 adults and children attended for the occasion.

Our thanks go to Pam shown below looking on as the children congregate around the crib.  She has led this simple service to explain the true meaning of Christmas for a number of years.

Children actively participate in the service and some of them can be seen below grouped in front of the crib singing the carol "Away in a Manger" - popular with most children whether they be 1 or 100!

One of the children carefully re-positions the figure of Mary in the crib.

and another inspects the crib prepared ready for Christmas.

Children are always welcome in church and we hope that by creating simple services which interest and encourage them to attend  such as the Christingle and Crib services they will become more involved with the church.

We would always be happy to receive ideas for themes or events which could form the basis for such children's services which you feel would interest your children, such as, for example, toy or pet services .
