Mothers' Union Meetings take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except during the summer months of June, July and August) at 7:30pm. They are normally held at the Green School, but in January and September they begin with a service in church.
All our meetings are open to anyone with no commitment to join the MU or attend regularly. We ask for a contribution of £1 per meeting attended to help with expenses and the work of the Mothers' Union.
Our programme is varied, with advance notice being given in the monthly Parish magazine. Sometimes there will be a speaker on a subject that reflects the objectives of the Mothers' Union, which include fellowship as well as outreach. At other times there are "in-house" meetings, which may be a discussion, a contemplative session preparing us for Advent or Lent, or be a practical meeting involving craft or packing Christmas boxes
We support Church events and groups such as the "Pram and Buggy" group and help the Boston Women's Aid with donations of toiletries and other items. We also have joint events with other local MU branches
Meetings are on 3rd Thursday at 7.30pm in the Green School unless otherwise stated.
