We are a thriving church with a large congregation with people of all ages including lots of young families.

The church is open every day during daylight hours for prayer; somewhere to take time out from life's stresses; or even just to visit to see the beautiful architecture and explore our long history.

Teddy Bears' Picnic

(These teddies sat quietly and behaved themselves while the children explored the church)

The children who will be starting at the William Hildyard School in September brought their teddies (and their mums/dads/grannies/carers) for a picnic on the rectory lawn followed by an opportunity to explore the church.

They had great fun going round all the special places in church and finding stickers to put on their worksheets. Some lucky children got to try out the refurbished organ and some others helped with the story of Daniel in the Lions' Den.
Then everybody got to learn a song of praise in Swahili and make a loud noise with a tambourine or bells or shakers. We look forward to seeing them all for their harvest festival if not sooner.
