St Vedast Church
Thackers Lane
Tathwell
Louth
LN11 9SR

The Church is on a hill top, accessed via Thackers Lane which forks with New Lane. There is a small car park and then a narrow gravel path up the side of the churchyard. Please do be careful (it is worth it!).

All being well the Church is open daily, but if not there are telephone numbers in the porch given for gaining access.

Our patron, St Vedast, was a french bishop, associated with healing miracles and wise teaching. There are only two churches dedicated to Vedast in Britain, and so here is a rarity! Inside you will see him depicted in stained glass. His feast day is February 6th, the day on which he died in 539.

St Vedast pray for us!
