Ever thought of Bell Ringing?
Bell Ringing is for folk of all ages and abilities.
Both Caistor Church (8 bells) and Grasby Church (6 bells) have fine peals of bells and enthusiatic bell ringers. New ringers are always welcomed and we teach you at a pace to suit yourself.
You do need to be able bodied to access the ringing chamber at Caistor (a set of steps and a small ladder is involved) but Grasby bells are rung from the ground floor.
At Grasby, there is ringing before most Services and practice nights and other special ringing sessions are arranged as necessary.
David Hibbert is the Tower Captain at Grasby.
Caistor ringers practice on Friday night between 7.30 and 9.00 p.m. and ring before most services. Margaret Roach is the Tower Captain.
Fancy having a go?
Why not pop along to pratice night - you would be most welcome.
